What a complete contrast to our day out at Hawkstone last year, this time the sun didn't stop
shining and it brought out some very good golf on what was a far superior golf course, The Hawkstone now being our prefered course over The Championship. The views as you walk around are amazing and very picturesque.

A fantastic day was had by all under very difficult conditions on a very packed and slow playing Pype Hayes GC. Erin-Go-Bragh were a few players short of a full team, so with the help of our own Tom Foley we were able to have 5 doubles matches.
The outcome was 2 wins 1 loss and 2 halved matches meaning the STAGS retained the trophy 3 - 2 for another year.
Congratulations to our Captain Mark Jones for selecting a winning team.
Thanks to Erin-Go-Bragh for hosting the day and providing some much needed food and prizes after what was a very long day at The Hollly Lane Club afterwards
