A fantastic Captains weekend enjoyed by all who took part, and a massive round of applause for everyone who, despite having to walk the course on the hottest day of the year, completed all 18 holes.
On Sunday the effects of Saturday had taken it's toll, with only 12 players teeing off on the front 9, this was reduced to 9 players for the back 9, which was a wise decision by the 3 who walked off when the course was hit by, what could only be described as a "mini Tempest" including, "horizontal rain and hailstones" for 15 minutes. This caused another 4 players to cut their round short by being absolutely soaked through and unable to continue.
Congratulations to the 5 who completed the 18 holes.
