Michael Farrell thanked all who attended today on behalf of his family on what was the 10th playing of the trophy named in honour of his father John, one of the founding members of the society. He was also only a "lost" ball away from taking the trophy home himself, after losing a ball on the 17th hole and recording his only "non return" of the day on his card but still coming home with 43 pts. Michael also donated a Litre bottle of Jameson whiskey to the winner.
Also a massive thank you to Pype Hayes GC for accommodating the extra numbers that turned up on the day.
